White Wine
Spain is rightly famous for its red wines but also produces a selection of excellent white wines.
Rias Baixas DO region is producing some excellent wines. Terras Gauda O Rosal is a good example. It comes from a combination of the legendary Albariño grape (approximately 70%) with those of the Loureira and Caiño blanco grape.
We also have a sublime sweet wine from the Alicante region. Served it chilled as a dessert wine with some turron, and it is a fitting end to any meal.
