Jamón and Chorizo
Cured meats or 'embutidos' form an integral part of the Spanish diet with the key products being jamón iberico, chorizo and salchichon.
Jamón is probably the most popular, with many families having a leg of Jamón at home while bars and restaurants have them hanging from the ceiling. Jamón is an ancient product using a breed of pigs that is only found on the iberian peninsula, which have been present here since prehistory.
We have both Bellota (acorn fed) and Recebo (acorn and cereal fed) as well as Jamón Serrano. All have been directly imported from the producer to ensure that you, the customer, get the best quality product.
The jamón, chorizo and salchichon are produced for us by a small family-run company in Extremadura. The company demands the highest standards and produces some of the best cured meats that we have tasted.
