Flor De Sal with Mediterranian Herbs

On calm hot summer days a layer of salt can be found on the water surface in the Salinas, these fine salt crystals are called Flor de Sal. The process of selection and collection is done entirely by hand. The salt contains nearly 100 different minerals and micro-nutrients compared to traditional table salt, which gives it its fine taste and positive health benefits. The combination of Flor de Sal with mint, basil and dill goes well with lamb, cheese, sauces, venison, poultry and fish dishes.
