Based in Os de Balaguer in the province of Lerida, it still produces a wide range of turrones made to the recipes of the founder Sra Mundeta. Turron was introduced to Spain by the Moors and is still a firm and traditional favourite in Spain todaythat is eaten all year round, but especially at Christmas, it contains the best almonds from Lerida, which are gently roasted before being added to a mixture of honey, sugar and egg white. Torta Imperial is a round, single layer of almond brittle encased in rice paper. 100g
