This small posada with 22 rooms and an excellent restaurant that champions local produce, is set in a 12th century monastery on the outskirts of Aguilar de Campoo in Palencia. The hotel is part of the Centre for Romanic Studies and the superb restoration subtely mixes the key elements of this architecture with latest advances in modern technology.
A small country hotel that has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It is located in a fomer 8th century convent in the relatively undiscovered region of Palencia in the north of Spain. The hotel is in the middle of a National Park yet within a couple of hours you can reach the major cities of Santander, Bilbao, Valladolid and Burgos.
These two adjoining houses are located in the beautiful Sierra de Ricote in the region of Murcia in Southern Spain. The houses have been lovingly restored and fully modernised and include a pool. Their location makes an excellent base for exploring the Sierra de Ricote and Murcia and offers easy access to both Alicante and Murcia airports.
This Finca, near to the town of Blanca in Murcia, is made up for four different houses. Casa de Ramoncito sits in the middle of orange and lemon groves and boasts four double bedrooms, the second house has been divided into three different cottages, one with two bedrooms and the other two with three bedrooms each. All share a swimming pool and have been renovated to a very high standard in a traditional Murcian style and are fitted with all the latest mod cons. The area is famous for its many outdoor activities including horse riding, canoeing, walking and climbing.
This excellent small hotel in the centre of Blanca, a small town 30km west of Murcia, was once the residence of Count Trenor. The hotel is on three floors with 12 bedrooms, a garden and private parking. It also has a restaurant that specialises in Basque cuisine.
